The Four Factors: Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House. Holding to the creation model of origins is important as it establishes the basis for the whole gospel message. The following series gives the Basic Beliefs that comprise the Gospel Story as told from Genesis to Revelation and as understood by the Non-Western Hebrew Culture.

1. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: Setting the Stage.

Using the tools of Worldview and Philosophy, and considering the four factors of Stephen Jay Gould, we set the parameters for interpreting and understanding the Bible Basic Beliefs from a Non-Western Cultural perspective. The foundation laid is that of External Authority: Revealed Biblical Parameters.

2. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: 1st Pillar: Creation – Perfect and Complete.

The foundation laid represents the chosen source of Reliable Knowledge being Biblical Revelation. From this foundation the first pillar is established and that is of a Creation that was Perfect and Complete in its original state.

3. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: 2nd Pillar: Creation – Fallen and Cursed.

This pillar explains why the original creation is no longer perfect. Man’s disobedience brought a curse that included suffering and sickness that end in death.

4. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: 3rd Pillar: Creation – Judged by Water.

This is the last bottom floor pillar and it shows how a Holy God must judge sin. A second floor is now set on the lower three pillars and this floor represents the Creation now Condemned.

5. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: 4th Pillar: Creation - and the Cross.

The second floor though representing a creation condemned is the basis for hope, on this floor is stood the pillar of the Cross. The Cross represents the death of Jesus that paid the redemption price to restore the creation to its Holy Creator God.

6. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: 5th Pillar: Creation - and the Resurrection.

On the second floor, next to the pillar of the cross, stands the pillar The Resurrection. The  price was paid in full on the cross for our sins, but the guarantee is assured by the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Death no longer reigns for those that are in Jesus.

7. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: The 3rd Floor: Creation - Redeemed and Renewed.

Based on the two pillars beneath we have the second floor that proclaims a Creation Redeemed and to be Renewed.

8. Non-Western Bible Basic Belief House: The Roof: Creation - Reconciled to the Creator God.

This caps the Gospel Story, all of creation is now reconciled to our Creator God through the blood of Jesus Christ.

9. Non-Western Biblical Basic Belief House: How Much Can We Re-Model The House?

So how much of the house can we re-model before it loses internal integrity? Can we substitute Evolution for Creation? Can we Close the Operating System? How much can be changed and still maintain the integrity of the Gospel Story?
